Is It Is What It Is- We are imperfect humans in an imperfect world

Who doesn't think about his life and his path? Who doesn't make various hypotheses and analyses of what happens to them, especially when they are in trouble? Problems will always be part of our lives, so we decided a long time ago to look at them as trials and tests that accompany us, depending on how well a person has passed them, and we have learned that in life, there are many things that we cannot change and must accept. No matter how much we try, in every problem we face, we find an answer to why, why the problem occurs, and what its consequences are, we realize that there are some questions that we do not need to know the answers to. This article aims to provide some ideas about perfection, and whether it is really necessary.

"This is the case," and life goes on:

In some situations, we need to abandon perfection and accept that there are many unfinished parts of our lives. And the phrase "this is the case" is one of the sentences of the mantra to reduce feelings of disappointment when we are faced with a situation that does not correspond to our desires.

Every event has a cause, but sometimes there are some events that we don't need to know the cause of. Other times, there may come times when we choose to stop, not because we can't go to our goal, not because we can't achieve it, nor because we don't have time. It may even be possible that the thing we want to achieve is not the best for us, and there are other things waiting for us to achieve, or maybe the time has not yet come, because there are more important things that are a priority right now. Acceptance, patience and faith are wonderful because if one door is closed, another door will open. There are other opportunities ahead of us to walk towards.

Acceptance and Gratitude:

This acceptance is not easy, but it does make us calmer in our lives. There are undoubtedly times when we feel pain. For example, when we fail to get the job we want, or when we have feelings for someone but they don't reciprocate the feelings, and certain actions or words hurt us... We wonder why we feel this pain? Our thoughts become chaotic and uncontrollable. The more we search for an answer, the harder it becomes to find. And here we come to acceptance: accepting all the pain, accepting failure, accepting the love we have not received... And without remorse and without self-blame, because we tried and surrendered our matter to the Lord of the worlds. At first, it's okay to feel what we're feeling, whether it's sadness or disappointment, because our feelings are not wrong.

Acceptance has another consequence of being grateful. Gratitude is about appreciating and focusing on the good things in life. Focus on what we receive, not on problems, because God always has a way of smiling wherever we are, wherever we stand.

We are imperfect beings:

The world we live in is not perfect. The word "perfection" is more of a philosophical concept than a state of existence. Because if it were an achievable state of existence, each of us could claim to be in an ideal world. We will all be right, but at the same time we will all be wrong according to someone else's definition of the word "perfection," because each of us knows perfection in our own way. But, philosophically, "perfection" is an ideal state. Idealism, by definition, does not exist, otherwise it would have been real. Idealism is a concept, hence it only exists in our imagination.

The idea of perfection in religions goes in about the same direction; we define it on the basis of what we imagine. The saints and other righteous and righteous people may come close to our definition of perfection, but since they are human beings, perfection is not possible even for them. We humans are inherently imperfect once we accept the scriptures account of creation as reality. For our purposes for the time being, we will accept this narrative. The nature of humanity, according to the Muslim, Christian and Jewish traditions, is that we have sinned from the beginning, thus losing the perfection that was at the core of our identity from day one. We have suffered from that ever since, and we continue to suffer today except for isolated attempts here and there. But don't worry! There is always another day to work on.

The world is also not perfect...

We emphasize here that we are not only talking about the human condition, but also about the earth on which we live, move and exist; an ideal planet should be 100% safe to live on. Obviously, this is not the case here. Recently, we in our region were devastated. In an ideal environment, this would not have happened. Everything could have been leveled with respect to plate tectonics, and the only waves produced by the oceans would have been those affected by the moon's gravity and the Earth's rotation. If earthquakes and tsunamis were isolated events in human history, we can attribute them to a divine whim or something caused by human negligence, for example. But other disasters have happened before, and they will happen again. Unfortunately, we all know that. Who knows whether migration to another habitable planet – however far-fetched it may seem now – will remove this variable from our list of concerns and concerns. Humans will remain at the center of life on the new planet as well.

The purpose of this article is not to be pessimistic about this, but what is certain is that things in terms of personal relationships will eventually deteriorate into what we live now, because we carry our flaws with us, regardless of the neighborhood, the country, and even the planet we live in. The truth is that we are stuck in the place where we live with each other. Our flaws may be seen as what drags us down, but they are the same motivation to do better, especially in interpersonal relationships and with our inner self. Despite our flaws, we can choose to do better. But will we?
