Amazing Arabic Youth movies & series that are worth watching

In recent decades, works of art have rarely caught their eye, and many agree to praise or truly enjoy them. This has many reasons, including the decline in the quality of work, and attention to formalities more than content. It is really surprising that the wave of ridicule we see on social networks of old works, the focus on the irony of formalities and the loss of thought about the idea of the work itself!

But at the same time, we noticed a few young Arab works that managed to gain a lot of admiration and enjoyed a real high viewership. This shows that good work is still well appreciated in our Arab countries. We have selected for you from these works this list that is really worth seeing...

1- The series "Balto"

Risking one young talent in a work of art is in itself an adventure that counts for the creators, let alone pushing a few young talents into one work in terms of almost the majority of the work, while making sure that they lead the scenes of the championship. And that was in terms of the actors, the director, and the author.

The makers of the work have won the hard bet in this series.

"Balto" revolves around the journey of Atef Kamal, a young doctor who is recently graduated, who is assigned to work in a health unit in one of the villages of the Egyptian countryside. Atef faces many challenges in his new environment, both professionally and personally, forcing him to adapt to the conditions of life in the village and interact with its people. The series is largely satirical of social and professional situations, and is also based on real events of the author himself. The work has really deep comedic situations, some of which are punctuated by black comedy that may make you disbelieving what you often watch! The author and director often follow a shocking approach for the viewer, seeing the unexpected in the events.

The series is characterized by its realistic comedy style that touches the concerns of simple people in the Egyptian countryside, while providing funny situations that give the series an atmosphere of joy and suspense. Besides comedy, the series tackles many humanitarian and dramatic issues that touch the feelings of viewers, such as poverty, social injustice, and unreasonable traditions and customs entrenched in society. The most prominent of these was that people followed a charlatan who convinced people that he had dignities and blessings in healing diseases.

2- Screws

It is one of the most important Saudi works of art that relies mainly on pure Saudi artistic minds and hands. Some even classify it as the most important work of art in the history of the Kingdom so far.

The work is presented in the style of fantasy cartoons, with the addition of numerous elements and multifaceted characters. And it's a work that's really hard to make. The cartoon "Musamir" revolves around the adventures of friends living in Saudi Arabia. Friends face many funny and comical situations in their daily lives, and the cartoon addresses some social issues that touch the lives of people in Saudi Arabia in a light and satirical way.

In general, "Musamir" is one of the distinctive Saudi cartoons that have attracted the attention of viewers across the Arab world.

The artwork is available on YouTube, as well as on several platforms for movies and series.

3- The film "Al-Harifa"

It is a youth work that includes a list of almost unknown names of young actors, led by the son of the famous actor "Khaled Al-Nabawy", "Nour Al-Nabawy". What is remarkable is that the business achieved very large revenues relative to its budget, with profits exceeding 70 million Egyptian pounds. This is a big number for purely youthful work. It is worth mentioning that former Egyptian international player Ahmed Hossam - Mido participated in his first real cinematic experience, and many well-known names in the history of Egyptian football participated in the work.

"The Craft" revolves around the story of Majid, a talented young football man who is forced to leave his luxury international school and transfer to a public school due to family circumstances. Majed faces many challenges in his new environment, and finds himself in a completely different world. But he soon gravitates into the school world of football, joining her team for a tournament in the hope of winning a big prize.

It seems that the popularity of football in Egypt was a major reason for the success of the work, but at the same time, the work is made with good craftsmanship and professionalism, and you will not get bored while watching it, although its events are consequential and many can be expected.

The work focuses somehow on a social class and a generation of young people who are subject to much criticism, and many also attribute it to being the main reason for the deterioration of many moral conditions. But the work views such people very differently, highlighting human glimpses that are difficult to perceive in other works.
